I recently finished a book my husband got for me titled "Luncheon of the Boating Party by Susan Vreeland. It was about Auguste Renoir's painting and the characters in the painting. I'd recommend it for light reading and a personal experience with the painter and the painting. Renoir 2  out of 2 found this valuable. Do you?
