Maeona Urban's BiographyThis is a featured page

Ron & I Maeona L. Urban was born in Portland, Oregon and is considered to be a self-taught artist, drawing from a natural ability as a third-generation artist and painter. I'm the one with the pearls. The other is my best buddy and husband since 1972, Ron.

Until recntly I have had two sides to my artistic interests. I paint with a classical realistic style. I try to give tribute to the teachings of my Grandmother for a love and respect of people and nature. I am also drawn to the artwork of the Pacific Northwest Coast native Americans, learning about their culture, and wanting to share what I have learned.

More recently I have joined with a plein air group and have been delighted by painting outdoors. I hope to use this site to share my work and to learn from you.
