We are having a show "Colors of Scholls" May 6-June29, 2008 Opening Reception Saturday, May 10, 6:30, South Store Cafe, 24485 SW Scholls Ferry Road, Scholls/Hillsboro, Oregon 503-628-1920 paintings inspired be scenes and landmarks of Scholls, both now and then.

I recently finished a book my husband got for me titled "Luncheon of the Boating Party by Susan Vreeland. It was about Auguste Renoir's painting and the characters in the painting. I'd recommend it for light reading and a personal experience with the painter and the painting. Renoir

I have just recently joined a group called the Pacific Plein Air Painters and am learning to paint outdoors. I have been studio painting for years. I would like to share and learn more about this style of work.
